LAKE WINNIE FISHING REPORT
Big Winnie walleye bite still best at twilight hours. Early and late in the day is the best time to go out. Rigs tips with crawlers or leeches is the best. Night time you can run shad raps on the bar tops. Day bite is spotty . You can pick a few fish out the weeds. Jiggle crawlers between weed edges to get a couple of bites. Deeper drops of the main lake bar drops or hump edges down to 30 feet is ok for a few fish.
Perch are starting to go shallow up to the weeds in 8 to 13 feet of water. Sorting is going to get you your fish. There is plenty over nine showing up. Bug hatches are winding down . These fish are transitioning back to a minnow bite. Small jigs and a fathead minnow will put them in the live well.
Pike bite is good around the lake. Look to the weed edges in 8 to 14 feet of water.
See you on the lake Pat
